The short version
Flockshift collects nothing about you. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Your progress lives in a file on your own device and is never sent anywhere.
1. Information we collect
None. Flockshift does not collect, transmit, or store personal information. The app contains:
- no analytics or telemetry software;
- no advertising software, no ad networks, and no advertising identifiers;
- no accounts, logins, or sign-in of any kind;
- no crash-reporting service operated by us;
- no tracking across apps or websites — no App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, and no advertising ID is read on Android.
We operate no server. There is nowhere for us to put your information even if we wanted it.
2. What is stored on your device
The game keeps a small save file in its own private storage so you can pick up where you left off. It records:
- which levels you have solved, and the furthest one you have unlocked;
- per level, your best turn count and the number of undos, restarts, hints, attempts and seconds spent;
- whether you skipped a level;
- your sound and music settings;
- whether the additional level pack has been purchased.
Nothing in that file identifies you, and none of it is transmitted. We cannot read it. Deleting the app deletes it. If your device backs apps up — to iCloud on iPhone and iPad, or to Google's backup service on Android — the save may be included in that backup, which is covered by Apple's or Google's privacy policy rather than ours.
3. The in-app purchase
Flockshift offers one optional purchase that unlocks additional levels. That transaction is handled entirely by the store you installed the game from — Apple, through the App Store on iPhone and iPad, or Google, through Google Play on Android. Your payment details are given to that store and never to us: we never see a card number, a name, an address, or your Apple Account or Google Account.
The store tells the app only the pack's price in your own currency and whether you already own it, which is what unlocks the levels. We receive only the aggregate, anonymous sales reports every developer gets, and those identify no one.
Restoring a previous purchase asks the same store the same question again. Asking for that price and that answer is the only reason the game contacts anything outside your device.
4. The feedback link
The settings screen has a Send feedback button. It opens a draft in your own mail app, pre-filled with the game version, your current level, and your turn, undo and restart counts for that level — so you don't have to describe where you were.
Nothing is sent when you tap it. The draft belongs to you: read it, change it, delete it, or send it. If you do send it, the email reaches us with whatever you left in it, including your email address, and we use it only to answer you and to fix the game.
5. Children's privacy
Flockshift is suitable for a general audience and collects no information from anyone, including children. There is nothing to disclose on request and nothing to delete, because nothing is gathered in the first place.
6. Third parties
The app integrates no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The purchase is made through the platform's own payment machinery — Apple's StoreKit on iPhone and iPad, Google's Play Billing library on Android — which is used for nothing but selling and restoring the level pack, and reports nothing to us. We share nothing with anyone, because we hold nothing to share.
Downloading the app is a transaction between you and the store you got it from, Apple or Google, under that store's own policy.
7. Security
The strongest protection we can offer is the one described above: information that is never collected cannot be leaked, sold, or subpoenaed.
8. Your rights
Privacy laws including the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal information, and to object to its processing. We hold no personal information about you, so there is nothing for us to produce or erase. You are still welcome to ask us anything, and we will answer.
9. Changes to this policy
If Flockshift ever adds something that collects information — online leaderboards, cloud saves, analytics, or advertising — this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change. We will not quietly start collecting under a policy that says we don't.
